  • Online Applications: a wide selection of applications are accessible through the web. Access requirements include installation of Java or the Citrix web client.

Most of our libraries have computers for student use as well as printing resources available, so you don't have to wait in that long line or deal with unruly class groups yelling to make their opinion heard.

ASTRA – Astra is ASU’s classroom scheduling resource.  By selecting a building, date and time, you can see if the room is available to you for the extra few minute before or after your class, or even popping in to practice using the technology in the classroom!

ASU Computing Glossary

A

  • AFS: Andrew File System. The location where many ASU web pages are stored. ASURITE user directories are also located within AFS. It is a network file system shared by ASU servers such as general.asu.edu.

Tablet PC Software Tutorial

The operating system of tablet PCs is Microsoft Windows Tablet PC Edition, which is similar to the operating system of other PCs and laptops. Most of the software is the same, with a few additions unique to tablets. These include:
