Error: A column may not be outer-joined to a subquery

The key to remedying the left join/subquery issue to create a separate query section with the table utilizing the subquery.
  • Identify the table that is using both a left join and a subquery.
  • Insert a new query section.
  • In the new query section, recreate the subquery identified as problematic.
  • Return to original query section and remove that subquery.
  • Join the original query section to the new query section using the derivable query option.

Error: Unexpected end of file

This usually appears when a file has become corrupted. The bigger the size of the file, the bigger chance it can become corrupted. Depending on the time frame, corrupted files may or may not be able to be restored. To mitigate a file from being corrupted in the future:
  • Delete any unused or unneeded query sections within the report.
  • Remove any saved results within the report.
    • Open the report.
    • From the main menu, select File > Save Options > Save Results With Document...
    • Deselect any selected boxes under Query Results.

This appears when your session is about to expire. To maintain your session and prevent from timing out:
