Forward an Email
Students are given an asu.edu email address upon applying to ASU. You can choose to have email sent to you at this asu.edu email address to a personal mailbox you already own such as a AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo or Gmail account. You can also have your mail delivered to your official Gmail for ASU mailbox. See instructions for both below:

I want to receive my @asu.edu email in my personal email account (like Yahoo or Hotmail). How do I set this up?
To have email sent to yourASURITEid@asu.edu go to your external email account address (such as hotmail, yahoo, cox, etc.):
- Log in to EPO Update with your ASURITE UserID and password.
- In the Destination Address field, enter your external email address and click on Update. (Note: It will take around 30 minutes for the changes to begin working)
I want to receive email in my Gmail for ASU mailbox.
To have mail delivered to your official Gmail for ASU mailbox, follow these instructions:
- Log in to EPO Update with your ASURITE UserID and password.
- In the Destination Address field, enter the address <asurite>@email.asu.edu (<asurite> is your ASURITE UserID) and click on Update. (Note: It will take around 30 minutes for the changes to begin working)
Accessing your ASU Email
ASU provides a web-based email interface to your Gmail for ASU account which allows you to check your ASU email from any computer with an Internet connection:
- Open up a browser and go to https://email.asu.edu/
- Enter your ASURITE UserID and password
- For faculty and staff with Exchange accounts, go to https://exchange.asu.edu/
