How to update Mcafee Antivirus software
- To run AutoUpdate for McAfee Antivirus, right click on the McAfee shield and choose "Update Now". The update process will automatically start.
- Once it has finished, click the Close button or wait for the window to automatically close.
How to update Norton Antivirus software
- To run LiveUpdate for Norton Antivirus, navigate to Start, All Programs, Norton Antivirus, and select LiveUpdate, as shown below.
- Click next on the LiveUpdate window that opens.
- Verify that all updates have check marks next to them, and press next again. LiveUpdate will now download and install the latest definitions.
- Once the download and install process is done, click finish.
